Yearn | Then & Now

After trialing a mobile app MVP, Yearn was preparing to release their second MVP as a web application. They were still exploring their position in the market, struggling with how to communicate their concept, and eager to build on their early momentum.

Today, Yearn is exploring for their product-market fit before reaching a next round of investments.

Approach & Role

I joined to first help articulate their product concept both internally and externally. I then began to help the team clarify their product goals, define a roadmap, and assess the activity on the MVP. Then, after the first 5 months and an extensive branding exercise led by the CEO and external consultants, we landed on a 3.0 product roadmap. Then the search began for an external development team to help us bring it to life.
